The awkward one is first, because it is the one that decides whether any of this is worth an evening of your time.
- 01Do I need SOL to start?
- No, and there is no version of this where you do. You are not buying the coin, staking anything or paying a fee. You post, the shift ends, and SOL arrives in your wallet. The wallet is only somewhere to receive it — we never ask you to sign anything with it.
- 02So who is actually paying me?
- The coin is. Somebody wants people talking about it and has put money in a pot for exactly that — creator fees, SOL, or both. You are doing the work they would otherwise be buying from an agency, and the pot is split by who did the most of it.
- 03What if the coin does nothing — do I still get paid?
- It depends on how the pot was filled. A pot funded with SOL is fixed before you start, so a quiet coin pays exactly what it said it would. A pot fed by creator fees is only ever what the coin earned, and on a dead coin that is close to nothing. Every listing says which kind it is, up front.
- 04Does the coin have to be new?
- No, and the best ones usually are not. A coin that already trades has fees coming in right now, which is what a pot needs. Any coin, any age.
- 05Is this a pump.fun fork?
- No. Nothing about the coin changes — same curve, same chart, same liquidity. We count posts and split the creator fees. That is all of it.
- 06What stops a dev farming his own coin?
- The dev's wallet cannot score, and neither can any wallet he funded that shift. The excluded list gets published with the payout.
- 07Do I have to own the coin to fund a pot?
- No. Pointing creator fees at a pot needs the wallet they go to, but putting SOL in needs nothing — if you want a coin moved and you are willing to pay for it, you can open the pot yourself.
- 08Why would I list instead of just keeping the fees?
- If your coin does not need a crowd, keep them. This is for coins where the crowd is the entire point, and where paying it is cheaper than paying for reach.
- 09Do I need to hold $ROLL?
- Not to post. Posting is free and always will be. Listing a coin costs $ROLL — that is paid by the owner, never by the people posting.
